Restrictions
The following are not allowed on any surface, wall or ceiling in the Garden Pavilion, Hansen House or ceremony site:
Tape, tacks, staples, nails
Glitter, bird seed, confetti, streamers
Open flame candles of any kind- except unity ceremony
Lit candles down the ceremony aisle are not permitted. Must be 5' from the artificial turf.
Tape is not permitted on the seat of any chairs for reception or ceremony (white garden chairs).
Permitted:
Please use these preferred methods to hang décor in the Garden Pavilion, Hansen House or ceremony site:
Zip ties, floral wire, command strips
Please ask the venue manager or host on site if there are any questions about what to use for hanging items.
Candles are permitted in glass containers (i.e hurricane vases, votive holders, floating candles, etc.)
Taper candle flames must be 1" below the top of any glass container.
Sparklers are allowed in the front of the house only
Ceremony Times
You are welcome to have your ceremony at any time during the day. The times below are recommended based on the time of year and where the sun will be for optimal photo & guest experience. A general rule of thumb is your ceremony should be 2 hours before sunset.
Early March - Mid May: 4/4:30pm
Mid May - June: 5:00pm
July - Mid September: 5:30/6pm
Mid September - October: 5:00pm
November - December: 3:30pm
Wedding Timeline
An average wedding and reception is 5 hours. Below is an example timeline.
5-5:30pm Ceremony
5:30-6:30pm Cocktail Hour
6:30-7pm Guests enter tent, introductions & first dances
7-8pm Dinner
8pm-10pm Dancing
Floor Plans
There is an online service called Prismm that you will be emailed to create and account with to access our floorplan layout. This email will be sent about 6 months before your wedding. If you would like to look at sample floorplan options our couples have done in the past you can see that in our google drive here.
Dance Floor
Many of our couples choose to rent a dance floor or want to know how large of a space they should leave to accommodate the dance floor. Your guest count will determine how large of a dance floor you will need.

Our most popular ceremony location holds 250 people. The serenity of the pond serves as the perfect backdrop for your I do's' and is highlighted by a bubbling creek & fountain.
The Garden Pavilion
The Garden Pavilion with tent overlooks both the pond & meadow. It provides a beautiful weather backup plan. It can accommodate up to 250 guests.

The Secret Garden is a great choice for those who love a manicured garden look. Inspired by European gardens, this ceremony spot can seat up to 100 guests. Hansen House provides the perfect ceremony backdrop.

With exclusive access to the entire Hansen House, you and your bridal party can settle in and enjoy a seamless, spacious getting-ready experience. Multiple makeup stations throughout the home provide ample mirror space and natural light, ensuring everyone looks and feels their absolute best.
Upstairs, soft neutral tones paired with crisp, abundant window light create a bright, airy setting—perfect for capturing those candid, joy-filled moments with your girls. Downstairs, the ambiance shifts to a timeless Victorian-inspired aesthetic, offering a rich, elegant backdrop for more classic, heirloom-style photos.
The suite also features a spacious bathroom, a 7-foot floor-length mirror for those final touches, and complimentary mimosas to begin your day with a celebratory toast.

Introducing Fletcher Cabin, our brand-new groom’s suite, thoughtfully designed to offer a comfortable and private space to start your wedding day. Opened in March 2026, this inviting retreat sits just across the property from Hansen House—giving you complete separation and peace of mind if you prefer to keep the day’s first moments apart.
Conveniently located between the main parking area and the tobacco barn, Fletcher Cabin provides easy access while still feeling tucked away. Inside, you’ll find a spacious open gathering area, a kitchenette, and a full bathroom—everything needed for a laid-back, stress-free morning with your closest friends.
Step outside onto the wrap-around porch to relax, take in the surroundings, and enjoy a quiet moment before the celebration begins.
Fletcher Cabin was designed to give the groom and his party their own dedicated experience—bringing balance, comfort, and intention to every part of your wedding day.
