J. Duncan Hall

We are so excited to announce that the construction of J. Duncan Hall will start December 2026, and phase 1 is planned for completion by March 2027! J. Duncan Hall will replace the tent that is the Garden Pavilion and is planned to be enclosed and fully heated and cooled by June 2027. Covington Gardens will now be able to host weddings year-round! Our capacity will not change and we will still be able to accommodate up to 250 guests. See more of our renderings and construction timeline here.

Phase 1

Phase 1 is the initial building project. It will begin as open air in the spring of 2027. The open air building will function similarly to our current tent.

Phase 2

Phase 2 is to set the windows in place and the building to become fully heated & cooled. Our plan is for the windows to be placed in June before the weather gets hot.

Phase 3

Phase 3 is the detail! To get the true Victorian era look we are going for we will be adding trim detailing around the building. This should be complete by 2028.

Interior: Phase 1

The lighting & draping will be similar to what is currently in the tent.

Interior: Phase 2

We will be adding more draping to fully cover the ceiling and crystal chandeliers.

Interior: Phase 3

A marble fireplace will be added on the wall as a back drop for head tables & indoor ceremonies. The plan is for this to be added for 2028.
